Pre-pandemic the character breakfasts was nice. We were super careful last summer since the kids weren’t old enough to be vaxxed. We have family in the Philly area and go every year (although we skipped 2020). Would love any other tips!! Especially best rides for my very short 3.5 year old - will there be a lot of things she won't be tall enough for? And are there any rides my infant can do or will one parent be mostly holding the infant/switching off who does rides with the preschooler? It's not necessarily that much cheaper than buying 3-4 day passes, but then you get discounts on food, free parking, etc. Depending on the level, it comes with free guest passes. The only other advice I've received is to consider getting one season pass. There's a map of the park on the website, and I think the water rides are together, so if you wanted to do just a few hours I don't see why you couldn't just stick to the dry side. I think you can also meet characters outside of the dining experiences but I understand that may involve waiting in lines? There's also a parade where I think you would see all the characters but not necessarily get pictures with them. I believe the character dining is inside from what I've read because people have mentioned it's a nice break from the sun to be in AC, but not sure how crowded it may be. Thank you!!!!!!įollowing because I haven't been yet, but meeting friends there at the end of July with 4 kids 3 and under total. Sorry! I'm just trying to find that line between having fun with the littles vs flying too close to the sun and never again wanting to do a theme park trip. But I don't want to be there for the whole day under the sun and the kids baking. We'll get the ez pass thing to skip the lines. Is there a way to do this in two - three hours? I want them to go and meet the characters. Perhaps I just need to accept that the kids are kids and they will want to go in, and there's chlorine. Is it doable to opt out of the water park features, or is everything together and my kid is going to be begging to go down the water slides? I read somewhere that the water stuff is sort of gross / Im super squeamish about water parks / pools / etc. Are any of those activities outdoors / if not would you recommend / or is it just super crowded and stay away? I really don't want any of us to get sick again But I think everyone recommends the breakfast with characters or similar. Kids are unvaccinated so we pretty much always eat outdoors. Would it make sense to go on a Friday versus the weekend? Would it be that much of a difference as far as park crowds? We can only take the Friday off, so we would be driving up Thursday night. Our preschooler is at the age where they would be really into it now, but Im not sure would be into it next year. We are thinking about going to Sesame place soon.
